Features

Built for the way the CBSE board exam asks questions.

Every feature in Aethez exists because a student or teacher asked for it during real exam prep. Here's what the product does today.

Structured, examiner-shaped replies

Every answer follows the same three-part shape: Approach (one short paragraph framing the strategy), Step-by-step working (each step labelled with What / How / Why), and a Final answer highlighted in a boxed callout. That's the same structure the CBSE marking scheme rewards, so reading the answer trains the habit examiners look for.

Prerequisites, formulas, terms — hoisted to a side panel

Long lists of prerequisites and formulas clutter the conversation. In Aethez, the assistant hoists them into a reference panel on the right (desktop) or a slide-up sheet (mobile), so the chat bubble stays focused on the working. Click any unfamiliar term to ask a follow-up mini-lesson.

"Similar question type appeared in" provenance

For every answer that draws on the indexed papers, Aethez shows a chip row telling you which previous-year board paper, set, part, and marks a similar question appeared in. That makes it obvious whether you're practising a one-mark MCQ or a five-mark long-answer style.

Equation builder

Symbolic input on a touchscreen is awful. Aethez ships with a small palette of common symbols — fractions, exponents, roots, Greek letters, trigonometric functions — so you can build an expression by tapping instead of hunting through a keyboard. Handy whenever a question expects you to type something more than plain prose.

Goal-driven study plans

Tell Aethez your target marks. It generates a plan that walks the chapters in descending weightage, picks the smallest chapter set that meets your target, and then anchors every chat to that goal so suggestions stay focused.

Daily homework companion

Stuck on tonight's homework? Paste the question and Aethez walks you through it step by step. Same Approach → Steps → Answer format the board paper expects, so you submit confident answers and actually understand the working — useful for homework checking, last-minute revision, and tackling the kinds of problems that show up on tests.

Previous-year papers, downloadable

The sidebar groups every indexed paper by tier (Standard / Basic) and year (2025 / 2026). One click opens the original PDF in a new tab via a short-lived secure link. Useful when you want to read the full paper end-to-end instead of just one question.
